Groot Constantia

Visited the big one today, We celebrated our new years day with a glass in each hand.

Groot Constantia is one of the oldest producing wine farms in South Africa and its pretty cool to see it all and taste a piece of history.

I loved the seating outside right next to the grapevines. You can see right down to the other side of the vineyard rows and rows of wine patiently waiting to be harvested.

Wine is bottled poetry.. I love both poetry and wine

They offer daily tastings of 5 wines R90 per person and includes a Souvenir crystal wine glass.

They also offer chocolate and wine pairing and a visitors route experience and museum access and another cool thing you can do here is Yoga on the lawns. How amazing would that be? I haven't tried yoga in the vineyards yet but that sounds like a whole other blog. :)

Overall visit was nice loved the wine and really enjoyed the peace and quite.
