Baylonstroren is one of the oldest Cape Dutch farms. Its known for its picture perfect gardens and lovely restaurants. I heard they have really exquisite rosé and I just had to try it for myself.

We opted for the green house restaurant under the trees with a quite stream of water flowing beside our table, This is one of the most beautiful places to sit and unwind on a hot day with a glass of rosé. This beautiful salmon colored wine has delicious hints of rose petals and strawberries.

So many photo opportunities here they have a cactus garden and beautiful landscaping also love the little water features and Koi pond. Really is nice to walk though the gardens and just take it all in.

On our way out we decided to get some fresh goodies from the farm house, we bagged some yummy biltong and fresh breads.

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a day out in nature to relax and unwind in a peaceful garden. I also suggest they try the trout it really is delicious the best iv ever tasted.
